An Edwardian house set in landscaped gardens on the south-west edge of Sheffield, Whirlowbrook Hall is one of the city's best-known wedding venues.
The gardens are the obvious draw — terraced lawns, mature planting and water give plenty of variety for portraits without needing to travel.
Interior rooms have a traditional, wood-panelled character. For getting-ready and speeches we work with window light first and add subtle flash only when needed.
On summer evenings the garden light can be lovely. We'll suggest a short window after dinner for golden-hour portraits.

Covered spaces near the house and the interiors themselves offer good options. We'll walk through a wet-weather plan with you during planning.
We usually suggest 20–30 minutes, split between an afternoon session and a shorter golden-hour moment.
